Paul Cordes is a director at Sterling working with political and public affairs clients to help develop and execute winning strategies. Paul also oversees the firm’s digital practice area, providing cutting edge strategies and tactics for Sterling clients.
Prior to joining Sterling, Cordes served as the political practice director at Grand Rapids-based Adtegrity, a publicly traded digital advertising and full-service media placement firm, specifically focusing on political digital strategy. He worked closely with federal, state and local candidates, party committees, and caucuses to craft hard-hitting and successful digital campaigns. Prior to Adtegrity, Cordes served as executive director for the Kent County GOP, leading one of the largest and most respected county parties in the nation through two winning election cycles. Paul’s worked campaigns for GOP candidates and conservative causes at all levels dating back to 2004.
Cordes holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Minnesota. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Cordes resides in Grand Rapids where he volunteers at both Holy Spirit Catholic Church as a catechist and Sparta High School as an assistant baseball coach.
